Jackson and Melissa Haggerty (SpectacularSpectacular) won “Wedding of the Year” in the Canadian Wedding Industry Awards for Sarah & Rob. Jackson also won “Best Floral or Décor Photograph”. What’s more, Tara & Mostafa (see our post last March) was selected as the best for “Event Planning, Wedding Over $100,000”. The Awards recognize the extraordinary talent Canada has to offer. The prestigious judging panel is comprised of Preston Bailey, Mindy Weiss and Laura Decarufel. Look for a two-page spread announcing the winners in the upcoming issue of WedLuxe, available Canada-wide mid-June. Congratulations to all of this year’s winners.
A late April wedding brought Jackson and Gillian to Kanazawa, Japan where they had the pleasure of photographing Natalie and Yoshiro’s traditional Shinto ceremony. Kanazawa is located centrally on the main island of Japan, with views of both the mountains and the sea.
The ceremony took place at Oyama shrine, among serene strolling gardens with ponds and bridges. Natalie’s traditional headdress, ornate kimonos and gowns created a striking focal point. View their slideshow for more photos.
Springtime in High Park amidst cherry blossoms in full bloom provided the perfect setting for Jessica and Donald’s engagement session with Jackson. The couple will be married in just over a month.
